January 10, 2011: Shawn Michaels is announced as the newest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame.

January 17, 2011: Mason Ryan makes his debut on Raw, pulverizing John Cena and declaring allegiance to the New Nexus.

January 24, 2011: It's Champion vs. Champion as WWE Champion The Miz clashes with World Heavyweight Champion Edge.

January 31, 2011: Alberto Del Rio is in a festive mood, addressing the crowd with mariachi troupe in tow.

February 7, 2011: Mr. McMahon cryptically promises the "guest host" for WrestleMania XXVII will be unforgettable ...

February 14, 2011: ... And he delivers on his promise, as The Rock returns the next week to claim the hosting gig for The Show of Shows.

February 21, 2011: The Undertaker returns, but no sooner does he step into the ring does Triple H make his presence known, issuing a silent WrestleMania challenge to The Phenom.

February 28, 2011: The Game puts his old rivalry with Sheamus to bed with a Pedigree through the announce table.

March 7, 2011: Oh, hell yeah: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin finagles his way into guest refereeing Jerry Lawler's grudge match with Michael Cole at WrestleMania, and douses both Cole and JBL in Steveweisers for good measure.

March 14, 2011: The Miz gets in on the action by posing as The Rock and planting Cena with a Rock Bottom.

March 21, 2011: Cena sends a message to The Miz, trapping his lackey Alex Riley in the STF.

March 28, 2011: The Rock feels Cena's wrath with a punishing Attitude Adjustment.

April 4, 2011: Save the date: Rock and Cena agree to settle their differences in the main event of WrestleMania XXVIII the next year.

April 11, 2011: Edge bids final farewell to the WWE Universe, as he's forced to retire due to lingering injuries and vacate the World Heavyweight Championship in the process.

April 18, 2011: That's SIR Michael Cole to you: the two-time Slammy winner is "knighted" by the "Queen" when Raw returns to England.

April 25, 2011: What a fake-out! John Cena is drafted to SmackDown as the No. 1 pick of the 2011 Draft, then drafted back to Raw as the final selection of the night.

November 28, 2011: Cena steps into "Piper's Pit" and endures the blistering criticism of Hot Rod in the process.

December 5, 2011: CM Punk is on a rampage, delivering Go to Sleeps left and right.

December 12, 2011: The Slammy Awards descend into flames when Kane returns, sporting a new mask and a hellish chokeslam for John Cena.

December 19, 2011: Woo Woo Woo! WWE Champion CM Punk channels ECW when he and freshly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, and U.S. Champion Zack Ryder enter through the Philadelphia crowd and celebrate in the ring.

December 26, 2011: R-Truth is back, with payback on his mind.
